Uncle Dave always had a smile on his face and a joke for every occassion. Each Birthday I looked forward to reading Pam and Dave's  card, Dave's one liners where always better than the official line in the card, he could have had a successful second career as a card writer. Now when I wrote cards I often think of Dave and his quick sense of humour. I'll also remember him as a kind and calm man, who had many interests,  and was always good to talk too. He is sadly missed, but I have many fond memories of him.
